News Channels Reporting Increased Threat towards PSNI
PSNI
News channels reporting a plot that has been discovered that dissidents are plotting against our colleagues in the Police Service of Northern Ireland at a rate of 1 every 2 weeks. This news follows the murder of PC Ronan Kerr last week in an under car bomb attack.
Keeping the Queens peace is not an easy job these days and terrorism is a complicated and expensive crime to solve but it has to be for the communities of Northern Ireland.
This news comes as the Buckingham Palace announced plans for the Queen to visit Ireland in May. Another busy period of time for the PSNI.
It is well known fact that the dissidents have an ambition to attack mainland UK however there is no current known threat.

Police Federation for Northern Ireland Statement
Apr 2nd
@PoliceFedforNI
PFNI Statement from Terry Spence, Police Federation Chairman, which represents 7000 officers from Constable to Chief Inspector, has condemned the murder of the Constable as cowardly and counterproductive. We will never be deterred by terrorists from doing our duty and serving the whole community.
On behalf of my members I call upon the community to help us bring these murderers to justice. Wherever officers serve they must be -extremely VIGILANT about their personal security both OFF and ON duty.The thoughts of all police officers are about our young colleague and his family.
